This mocca frosting is super delicious… perfect for cakes and cupcakes, or as a cookie filling.
- 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon (200 g) butter, at room temperature
- 7 oz. (200 g) dark chocolate
- 1 1/4 cup (150 g) powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons mocca extract
Put the butter and powdered sugar into a bowl.
I use Lindt 70% dessert chocolate for this recipe.
You’ll also need mocca extract or mocca aroma.
Put the chocolate into a bowl and melt in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water.
Stir in the mocca extract or aroma.
Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl with the butter and powdered sugar.
Start by mixing on low speed.
Continue beating until very fluffy…
And that’s it… an amazing frosting, ready to use!
