Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.

Today’s temptations are simple Mars cookies, easy to make and such a treat to eat!

Here is the recipe, enjoy!

Simple Mars cookies:

  • 1 cup (220 g) butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3-4 Mars bars (roughly chopped)
  • 1 3/4 oz. (50 g) walnuts (optional)
  • 1 cup (200 g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (110 g) regular sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups (320 g) all-purpose flour

Bring out everything you need.

If you’re not a big fan of Mars bars you can just as well use any other chocolate bar.

Put the butter and both sugars into a mixing bowl and beat until pale and fluffy.

Now add the eggs one at a time, mixing well between each addition.

Add the vanilla extract with the last egg.

Tip in the dry ingredients.

Stir until everything is well blended using a rubber spatula.

Divide the dough between cupcake paper cases, about 1 tablespoon per case, or make mounds onto lined baking trays.

Bake in a 350 ˚F (180 ˚C) oven for 15-20 minutes.

Drizzle some melted, dark chocolate on top, if you like…

Sooo yummy…

That’s it for now, I hope you are tempted!

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs from me to you.
