These lovely rolls are soft and fluffy with savory flavors; garlic, rosemary and sea salt.

Here is the recipe, enjoy!
Rosemary and garlic rolls (yield: 20-24)
- 1 3/4 oz. (50 g) fresh yeast
- 1 cup (230 g) butter
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) tepid water
- 2 1/4 cups (500 ml) milk
- 4 tablespoons regular sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon table salt
- 6 cups (750 g) all-purpose flour
- fresh rosemary (to taste)
- 4 garlic cloves
- sea salt, for sprinkling
Bring out everything you need.
Heat the milk with the butter until the butter softens.
Dissolve the yeast in the tepid water.
Put all the ingredients into a mixing bowl, except the garlic, rosemary and sea salt.
Knead the dough until all the ingredients comes together.
Turn off the machine and leave to rest for 10 minutes.
Continue to knead, either by hand or with the help from a machine.
Knead until the dough is very soft and smooth.
Put the dough into a large bowl, brush with some oil and leave to rise for at least 40 minutes.
In the meantime, melt 3 1/2 tablespoons (50 g) butter, add rosemary leaves and the garlic (chopped).
This is for brushing the rolls before baking.
My dough was puffed up after 40 minutes…
Dust your work surface with some flour and tip out the dough. Gently cut into 20-24 equally sized pieces.
Arrange the rolls onto lined baking trays and brush with the butter and garlic mixture. Sprinkle with some sea salt on top.
Leave to prove for another 20 minutes, then bake in a 350 F (180 C) oven for about 20 minutes.
Done, and the kitchen smells delicious!
