Today’s temptations are yummy chocolate chip cookies with a little twist… The addition of potato chips and salted peanuts makes these cookies extra special.
Here is the recuipe, enjoy!
Sweet & salty cookies:
- 3 1/4 cups (400 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cup (300 g) butter
- 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon (200 g) regular sugar
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons (230 g) light brown soft sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 7 oz. (200 g) dark chocolate chips
- 9 oz. (250 g) potato chips and peanuts (or other nuts)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Bring out all the ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 375 ˚F (190 ˚C).
Put the butter and both sugars into a bowl and beat until fluffy.
Then add the eggs, one at a time.
Add the vanilla with the last egg.
Put the flour, baking soda and salt into a separate bowl and mix well.
Tip the flour mixture into the mixing bowl…
Beat until everything is well blended.
Add the potato chips, peanuts and chocolate.
Using a rubber spatula, stir until everything is well blended.
Arrange tablespoonsfuls of dough onto lined baking trays. You should get about 30 cookies in total.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 9-11 minutes.
Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee…
If you’re sceptical about the potato chips, halve the quantity the first time to find out if the flavor combination is to your taste.
I just love the combo of sweet and salty…
