Hello everyone!

Today’s temptation is a refreshing 50’s style milkshake.

When I was in Paris a few weeks ago I visited a cool american diner called Happy Diner.

That’s where I had an amazing milkshake named “50’s milkshake”.

The 50 ‘s milkshake contained fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream, crushed ice cubes, yogurt and sugar – so delicious, so refreshing!

Here is the recipe:

50’s Milkshake (4 servings)

  • 4 cups (1 litre) fresh strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons regular sugar
  • just under 1 cup (200 ml) yogurt
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • a few ice cubes

I use strawberries and vanilla ice cream, but feel free to use your favorite berries and ice cream flavors.

Put the strawberries and ice cream into a blender.

Add the yogurt, sugar and ice cubes.

Whizz until completely smooth.

Pour into milkshake glasses…

Top with some whipped cream and a cherry to get that vintage 50’s look.

Serve and enjoy immediately!

I wish you all a wonderful day, hugs from me to you.
