Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.

Today’s temptations are these delicious apple and cinnamon rolls drizzled with dark chocolate…Here is the recipe, enjoy!

Apple Cinnamon Rolls (Yield: 24)

  • 2 2/3 cups (350 g) all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons (35 g) powdered milk
  • 2 tablespoos (35 g( regular sugar
  • 1/4 teaspon salt
  • 1 3/4 oz. (50 g) fresh yeast
  • 3 large eggs + 1 egg yolk (use the egg white for the egg wash)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) tepid water
  • 2/3 cup (150 g) butter

Bring out all the ingredients.

Put all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and add the butter.

Dissolve the yeast in the tepid water.

Add the eggs to the ingredients in the mixing bowl.

Add the yeast/water mixture.

Using the dough hook attachment, knead the dough for about 20 minutes.

The dough may seem too wet at first, but after 20 minutes of kneading it’ll be perfect!

Don’t add any more flour.

Leave the dough to prove for about 45 minutes.

It should double in size…

Filling:

  • apples
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • sugar and ground cinnamo

Roll out the dough.

Sprinkle with some sugar and ground cinnamon, I use about 5 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon.
Cut the apple into small dice, mix with the lemon juice and set aside for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle the apple over the sugar and cinnamon and roll up like a Swiss roll.
Cut into 1-inch (2 cm) pieces.
Arrange cut-side up onto a lined baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
Use the fan setting if your oven has one.

Oh la la, so good!

Drizzle over some melted dark chocolate, if you like…

I hope you are tempted to bake these Apple Cinnamon Rolls.

The chocolate drizzle gives these buns the deluxe look…

I wish you all a wonderful day ♥

Happy baking!

Hugs from me to you.
