Fudge Brownies


Hello everyone!

Here is a recipe from my book Just Sweet, enjoy!

These Fudge brownies make a fabulous dessert; cut into small cubes and place in dessert bowls with whipped cream and some fresh fruit… so delicious!

Fudge Brownies

  • 1 cup (250 g) butter
  • 2 1/2 cup (550 g) regular sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/3 cup (170 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  •  10 1/2 oz. (300 g) dark chocolate chips
  • 1 1/4 cup (150 g) pure unsweetened cocoa powder
  •  2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 350 ˚F (180˚C).

Put the butter into a saucepan and place on a medium heat until the butter has melted.

Remove pan from the heat, add the sugar and put the pan back on the heat for 30 seconds.

Transfer the butter/sugar mixture to a large bowl.

Add the eggs and whisk until just combined.

Stir in the flour, baking powder, chocolate chips, cocoa powder and vanilla extract.

Pour the mixture into a lined 8 x 12-inch (20 x 30 cm) baking pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, no longer.

Leave to cool in the pan for one hour, then place in the freezer for one hour.

Cut into cubes or larger squares and enjoy…

Tip! Put into a bowl with some whipped cream and fresh fruit!

    Disse så kjempegode ut! Tenkte på å lage de og gi bort i julegave :) Vet du om de vil holde seg greit noen dager i en glasskrukke eller kakeboks?

    Lovely recipe.Can i add 1/2 cup sugar instead of 5 cups sugar?

      Shalu google translate it wrong when it comes to cups, so please use a converter for the recipe

    Hei,

    Kan browniesen stå i fryseren lengre enn 1 time? for så å taes opp og tines?
    Evt. hvis den står i fryseren 1 time, hvordan skal den oppbevares etterpå?

    Hei! Disse så kjempegode ut! Har tenkt å lage dem nå, men siden butikkene ikke er åpne idag, har jeg ikke mørke sjokoladeknapper. Går det ann å heller bruke 300 g mørk kokesjokolade?

    Hei! takk for en super blogg! jeg forsøkte å lage Fugde Brownies og fulgte oppskriften nøye, men de ble veldig flytende. Da jeg skjærte dem i biter, rant røren utover. Vet du hvordan jeg kan unngå dette neste gang?

      Hei Aslaug! Disse fudge Brownies skall stekes akkurat 30 minutter avkjøles og helst fryses en time! om du har den igjen bare sett den i fryseren!

    Disse var bare SÅÅÅ gode! Skikkelig fudge brownies! Mine søsken elsket disse og jeg ble tvunget til å lage et nytt brett med brownies allerede neste dag!
