Happy Monday everyone, I hope you have had a nice weekend!

Today’s temptations are M&M’s Cookies; super yummy cookies packed with chocolate chips, walnuts and of course yummy M&M’s.

Here is the recipe, I hope you’ll be tempted.

Yummy M&M’s Cookies

  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) regular sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cup (170 g) all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons custard powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 5  1/4 0z. (150 g) dark chocolate chips
  • 5  1/4 oz. (150 g) M&M’s or Smarties
  • 1  3/4 oz. (50 g) walnuts

Preheat the oven to 350 ºF (180 ºC). I use the fan setting here.

Put the butter and both sugars into a mixing bowl and beat until fluffy.

Add the egg and vanilla extract and continue beating.

Add the flour, custard powder, baking soda and salt and beat for another minute.

Add the chocolate chips, M&M’s and walnuts. Mix until everything is well blended.

Roll into small balls.

Arrange the balls on a lined baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes.

Just a little tip: place some extra M&M’s and chocolate chips on top of the warm and freshly baked cookies, the cookies will be prettier and even more delicious.

Leave the cookies to cool for at least 5 minutes before tasting.

  7. Hei! Lurer på én ting angående disse. Steker du dem på varmluft også, eller bruker du bare varmluft for å varme opp stekeovnen?

  8. Hi. These look lovely. Im going to make these today. However I have few queries.
    What should be the oven temperature while baking the cookies ?
    Also can we use dark brown sugar ? Please let me know.

      Hello Rachita, the oven temperature is 350 ºF (180 ºC). You can use dark brown sugar, but the taste of the cookies will be sligthly different.

      Hi SC, the M&Ms will keep their shape during baking. Just cool completely before handling the cookies too much. 🙂
