Hello everyone. Here is a great recipe for Fluffy Parmesan puffs, I made these for Thanksgiving.
They are so good, enjoy!
Fluffy Parmesan puffs (yield: 12 stk)
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) milk
- 4 tablespoons (60 g) butter, diced
- 1 3/4 oz. (50 g) fresh yeast
- 3/4 cup tepid water
- 4 tablespoons regular sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/4 – 3 1/2 cups (400–450 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 oz. (50 g) Parmesan cheese, grated
Preheat the oven to 350 ˚ (180 ˚C).
Pour the milk into a bowl. Add the diced butter, then put in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minute until the butter is melted.
Dissolve the yeast in the tepid water.
Pour both the milk/butter mixture and the yeasty water into a mixing bowl.
Add the flour, sugar and salt and knead for about 10-15 minutes. Use the dough hook here.
Leave to rise for about 20-30 minutes.
Tip out the dough onto a lightly floured surface and dust with more flour.
Using a rolling pin, slightly flatten the dough.
Cut out small rounds, you can use a glass for this.
Arrange the rounds on a sheet of baking parchment.
Brush the tops with some olive oil…
…and sprinkle over some grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 15–20 minutes. Use the fan setting to make the buns even more fluffy.
Cool for a few minutes before serving.
These Fluffy Parmesan puffs are so good with some soup or a salad.
I hope I was able to tempt you..
Hugs from me to you.
