Today’s temptation is a simple strawberry mousse, the perfect ending to a nice meal.
Here is the recipe, enjoy!
Strawberry mousse (yield: 8)
- 11 oz. (325 g) strawberry purée (or use raspberry puré if you prefer)
- 1 cup + 1 tablespoon (250 ml) whipped cream
- 9 oz. (250 g) Italian meringue
- 1 packet strawberry (or raspberry) jelly powder
Bring out all the ingredients.

Put the strawberry purée into a pan and place on the heat. When warm, stir in the jelly powder.
Leave to cool completely.
Fold into the Italian meringue.
Carefully fold in the whipped cream.
Divide the mousse between dessert bowls or cups, then chill for 2-3 hours.
Ready to serve!
Decorate with some fresh fruit, mini chocolates or marshmallows, if you like.

You can also use this mousse as a lovely, fresh cake filling.
