Here is a recipe from my book Just Sweet, enjoy!
These Fudge brownies make a fabulous dessert; cut into small cubes and place in dessert bowls with whipped cream and some fresh fruit… so delicious!
- 1 cup (250 g) butter
- 2 1/2 cup (550 g) regular sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/3 cup (170 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 10 1/2 oz. (300 g) dark chocolate chips
- 1 1/4 cup (150 g) pure unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350 ˚F (180˚C).
Put the butter into a saucepan and place on a medium heat until the butter has melted.
Remove pan from the heat, add the sugar and put the pan back on the heat for 30 seconds.
Transfer the butter/sugar mixture to a large bowl.
Add the eggs and whisk until just combined.
Stir in the flour, baking powder, chocolate chips, cocoa powder and vanilla extract.
Pour the mixture into a lined 8 x 12-inch (20 x 30 cm) baking pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, no longer.
Leave to cool in the pan for one hour, then place in the freezer for one hour.
Cut into cubes or larger squares and enjoy…
Tip! Put into a bowl with some whipped cream and fresh fruit!
