Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.
These marsipan pops are the perfect Christmas treat, especially for marzipan lovers…
- 9 oz. (250 g) white, regular or homemade marzipan
- white lollipop sticks
- 7-10 oz. (200-300 g) dark or white chocolate, preferably coating chocolate
Start by rolling the marzipan into small balls.
Melt 1 – 1 1/2 oz. (30-40 g) white or dark chocolate.
Dip the lollipop sticks into a little of the melted chocolate, then insert into the marzipan balls.
Leave for a few minutes to set.
I’m using pretty glittery sprinkles this time…
Melt the rest of the chocolate of your choice and dip the entire ball into the melted chocolate until it is completely covered.
I use white chocolate here with a drop of food coloring.
Rotate the lollipop stick stick if necessary to allow the excess chocolate to fall off evenly, then repeat with the remaining balls.
Sprinkle with some nonpareils or sprinkles.
Let the chocolate set just a little bit before adding the sprinkles, if sprinkling straight away they’ll just slide off.
So pretty on a Christmas desserts table…
I hope you are inspired to make these for Christmas!
Hugs from me to you.
