Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well.
Today’s temptations are these pretty macarons with a luscious chocolate filling, perfect as a little gift, or to serve to your guests.
Go here to see the recipe and step-by-step photos on how to make vanilla macarons. Just add your chosen food coloring paste, if using.
Line a baking tray with baking paper, or use a macaron silicone mat.
Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a Wilton 1A tip and pipe small rounds onto the tray or mat.
Set aside to dry for at least 1-2 hours.
Bake in a 320 F (160 F) oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Leave to cool completely and set aside for a couple of hours.
Brush with a little Pearl powder, if you like.
Chocolate frosting:
- 7 oz. (200 g) dark chocolate
- 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon (100 ml) strong coffee
- 1/2 cup (115 g) butter, at room temperature
Melt the chocolate with the coffee using a bain marie (waterbath).
Stir in the butter until the mixture is smooth, then chill for 20 minutes.
Sandwich together the macarons using 1 teaspoon chocolate frosting for each pair.
So yummi.
Such a pretty little present!
I hope you are tempted!
Hugs from me to you.

Hei! Jeg elsker bloggen og bøkene dine, men lurte på en ting med macaroner – går det an å lage de uten mandler, og bruke noe annet i stedet? Har en kjæreste som ikke tåler mandler.
Fantastisk!
