Good evening everyone, I hope you’ve had a great day. Today I made a delicious and very easy to make Brownie ice cream. This ice cream is just heavenly, thanks to the addition of delicious brownie pieces.

Here is the recipe, enjoy.

Brownie ice cream

  • 2 eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup (180 g) regular sugar
  • 2 1/4 cup (500 ml) heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 9 oz. (250 g) dark chocolate
  • 10 1/2 oz. (300 g) Brownie pieces

Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Set aside.

Whip the cream and set aside.

Put the sugar, eggs and egg yolks into another bowl.

Place the bowl with the eggs and sugar over a saucepan of simmering water.

Whisk with an electric whisk or whisk by hand for about 8-10 minutes.

Add the vanilla extract (optional).

After 8-10 minutes it’ll be ready, take it off the heat.

Cut the brownies into small pieces.

Have everything at hand; the brownie pieces, whipped cream, melted (and cooled) chocolate and the whisked egg mixture.

First, mix the whipped cream into the whisked egg mixture.

Now add the melted chocolate, if you don’t like dark use milk chocolate.

Fold until everything is well blended.

If you don’t have any brownies to add, place the mixture in the freezer.

Pour the ice cream into a loaf pan which has a lid.

Place in the freezer for 4-5 hours.

Remove from the freezer 20 minutes before serving.

Now all you have to do is to enjoy this delicious ice cream. The flavor is very similar to the Ben & Jerry Brownie Ice Cream.

Super yummy, I hope you are tempted…

Have a nice evening, hugs from me to you.
