Hello everyone!
Today’s temptations are these delicious chocolate covered marshmallow candy bars with colorful sprinkles.
They bring back childhood memories… I love these old fashioned candy bars, and they are super easy to make.
I’ll show you how, enjoy!
Easter Marshmallow sprinkles candy bars
- Marshmallow mixture
- 7 oz. (200 g) chocolate
- 3/4 oz. (20 g) cake sprinkles
Make the marshmallow mixture as described here.
Stop whisking the marshmallow mixture while it’s still quite liquid, this will make it easier for you to make neat ropes/bars.
Transfer the marshmallow mixture to a piping bag fitted with a wide circular tip.
Place a sheet of baking parchment on your work surface and dust with powdered sugar.
Pipe ropes onto the baking parchment, approx. 3-4 inches (7-10 cm) each.
Leave to rest for a little while, then dust with powdered sugar and roll them back and forth until completely covered in powdered sugar.
Leave to dry for a few hours.
Melt the chocolate and pour it into a shallow loaf tin.
Dip each of the marshmallow ropes into the chocolate.
Arrange the chocolate covered marshmallows on a greased baking tray.
When the chocolate is just about to set, sprinke with some colorful cake decorations or sprinkles.
So beautiful.
The perfect Easter candy, especially for the little ones…
Made with love..
I hope you are inspired to make these treats.
Wishing you a great day, hugs from me to you.
