Hello lovely readers, I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. Many of you start your summer holiday very soon, I hope you’ll have the best summer ever!
Today’s temptation is a luscious white chocolate mousse, it’s soft and silky and simply amazing with some fresh berries.
Here is the recipe, enjoy!
White chocolate mousse
- 9 1/2 oz. (270 g) good-quality white chocolate
- 2 cups (500 ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
Pour the cream into a saucepan and place on the heat. When the first bubble appears, take it off the heat.
Tip in the white chocolate, use a good-quality chocolate here.
Add the vanilla paste or vanilla extract.
Stir well until the chocolate has melted into the varm cream.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and place the bowl in the refrigerator. Chill for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
Now use a hand-held electric whisk. Add the powdered sugar and whisk until the mixture has a fluffy and silky texture.
The result: a luscious and silky white chocolate mousse.
So easy to make and so good… I hope you’re tempted…

Hi Rita, it depends on the size of the servings, but somewhere between 6 decent sized or 10 smaller servings.

This looks so good – and seems to be so simple! We’ve got some chocolate at home that we won’t eat just like that, that’s why I’m asking whether this reciple also works with “normal” chocolate instead of white? Thank you for your great posts 🙂
