Good morning beautiful, and a happy new year to all of you. I hope you had a great new year’s celebration yesterday.
A new year is here, and a new day is ready to be embraced. I have long wanted to get better at taking care of myself, eating well and being more active, especially since I’m baking all the time and I’m planning to continue baking a lot.
This smoothie is great for anyone who wants to try getting their 5-a-day, the recipe is from the frukt.no website. I want to try varying my fruit and veg intake some more, the body needs more than just bananas and apples…
Smoothies are not just fruti and berries, vegetables can be a great addition to a smoothie. This is so fresh and delicious, highly recommended.
- 2 slices fresh pineapple
- ½ mango
- just under 1/2 cup (100 ml) orange juice
- 1 carrot
- 6 ice cubes
Roughly chop the pineapple rings, mango and carrot.
Pour the orange juice into the blender first, then add the pineapple, mango, carrot and ice cubes.
Whizz until the smoothie is nice and smooth.
This is actually one of the best smoothies I’be ever tasted! It was my first time tasting mango, I wanted to try mango today, and carrot juice is a regular of mine so already know that was good.
