Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all well.
Tomorrow I’m off to Copenhagen to attend an event which is arranged by Bosch. I hope for sunny days, I don’t get to see the sun very often this time of year and I’m longing for some rays of sunshine…
Today’s temptations are luscious caramel brownies, with a touch of gold.
Do you follow @passionforbaking on instagram?
One of the accounts I like ot follow is @larslian, I’m often inspired by his photos. He once posted a photo of brownies covered in caramel, and this post is inspired by him, but the recipe is my own.
First, make Manuela’s favorite brownies, you can find the recipe here.
Leave to cool completely.
Then make caramel sauce, you can find the recipe here. Leave to cool for about 5 minutes.
Pour the caramel sauce over the cake in its pan, then place in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours.
Cut into squares.
I decorated with some tiny pieces of 24 carat gold leaves…
These were so delicious,,,
If you’re a fan of brownies you can find several varieties here.
I hope you’re tempted.
Hugs from me to you.
