Good morning everyone, Friday is here again and we have a whole weekend to look forward to!
Today I’ll share the recipe for bread with Italian herbs, it’s easy to make and the taste is amazing.
I use (more or less) the same recipe as for Manuela’s diner baguette, you can find the recipe here.
Before you start kneading, add 4 teaspoons Italian herb mix (dried herb mix) to the dough.
The instructions are pretty much the same as for the baguettes, and it’s important to give the dough enough time to rise.
I always double the quantities when I make this at home. The recipe gives you 2 medium sized breads, if you double the recipe you’ll get 4 medium sized or 3 XL breads.
These breads are perfect with some soup, or for the weekend breakfast.
I like to sprinkle some sesame seeds over the breads before baking, that will give them some extra flavor, but you do as you please.
I hope you are tempted!
Bon appétit everyone, I wish you all a great weekend.
Hugs from me to you.

hi, thanks for the awesome recipe. I didn’t get how you shaped the baguettes finally!
Please explain that too. Or put more photos.
thank you so much
Hi Zoha, the dough is twisted before baking. The twisting gives this pretty shape, but the baguettes will be delicious no matter what shape they are 🙂
Happy baking!

Hi Manuela,
What do you mean by italian herbs?
Could you tell me what herbs are they?
Thanks
Ana
Hi Ana Santos, if you buy a box of Italian herbs they are usually a mixture of oregano, basil, marjoram, thyme and sage (all dried herbs). Sometimes rosemary is included as well.
