Hi everyone, hope all is well.
I’m on my way to the airport. I’m heading to Chicago to attend the International Houseware Show. I was at the International Houseware Show last year and it was amazing – so many products for baking. It is such a treat to visit a fair like that. Just wondering, what is the weather like in Chicago these days?
It’s almost spring time, or so it seemed for a few days: the sun was shining and the sky was blue, but now on my way to the airport it is snowing and very cold. But let’s pretend it is almost spring, wouldn’t it be delicious with a tropical smoothie? A smoothie which contains mango, strawberries, raspberries, banana, yogurt and some oatmilk. It is magical. I got this amazing Blendtec Blender Designer 625 Seafoam – so cute to look at. I love this pretty turquoise colour, and what a power machine this is.
Tropical smoothie
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 fresh mango
- 5-7 oz. (150-200 g) strawberries
- 3 1/2 oz. (100 g) raspberries
- 1/2 cup (115 ml) natural yogurt
- 1/2 cup (115 ml) oat milk or regular cow’s milk
For this recipe you will need a blender. I use the Blendtec Blender Designer 625 Seafoam which I got from Bakaren & Kocken. You can get it here.
The important thing to have in mind when using frozen bananas (or any other frozen fruits) – put those on top. Pour in the liquids first, then add the soft fruits, and then the frozen banana on top before blending until smooth.
This blender is super powerful, and it crushes ice cubes and frozen fruit perfectly. It is magical.
Blendtec Designer 625 has a maximum effect of 2200 watts, and it’s a so called High Speed Blender. The high speed is perfects for raw foods. The blender comes with a 6-speed capacitive touch slider, and you can use Pulse for an added burst of power at any speed.
This tropical smoothie is just so delicious. I hope you will try it.
I wish you all an amazing day, I have to catch the plane to Chicago.
