Today I want to share the recipe for this delicious Oreo ice cream.
It is simply heavenly, and the easiest ice cream you can ever make.
This base for this homemade ice cream has only 3 ingredients.
Heavy cream, sweet condensed milk and vanilla, this is the base and from there you just add all you love in an ice-cream.
In this ice cream base i added Oreo cookies, and topped the finished ice cream with a delicious chocolate sauce.
You’ve probably heard the quote: “Baby you are the icing on my cake, the cherry to my ice cream”, so that’s why I topped this ice cream with a cherry. A bit of eye candy.
HOMEMADE OREO ICE CREAM
- 500 ML WHIPPING CREAM, COLD
- 300-340 ML, SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, COLD
- 1 – 2 TEASPOON VANILLA BEAN PASTE, OR VANILLA EXTRAXT
- 10-15 OREO COOKIES , CRUSHED
CHOCOLATE SAUCE, OPTIONAL
- 120 ML HEAVY CREAM
- 100 GRAM DARK CHOCOLATE, CHOPPED
HOMEMADE OREO ICE CREAM
- In a bowl of a stand-mixer add your cold heavy cream, cold sweet condensed milk and vanilla.
- Start with the mixer on low for a few minutes, and continuem on medium high until fluffy, this takes about 4-5 minutes.
- Fold in the crushed oreo cookies
- Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 5 hours or overnight.
CHOCOLATE SAUCE
- Set aside 20 ml of the heavy cream.
- In a small saucepan pour the rest of the cream (100 ml)
- Heat the cream until it comes to a boil, remove the saucepan from the stove.
- Add the chopped chocolate and whisk until there are no lumps left.
- Add the rest of the heavy cream, and just combine.
- Let it cool down until you enjoy it with the ice cream
Now let’s drizzle some chocolate sauce over this delicious Oreo ice cream. The more the better, if you ask me.
