Hi sweet readers,
It looks like someone is in an early Christmas/holiday season mood this year. ūüôā
Each year i have started very late with Christmas/holiday posst, but this year I thought I start early.

Today it was snowing here in Sweden and it is so pretty everywhere.
I did an ad for a Swedish company called @Bakboxen today, they wanted to have a Christmas style picture which I posted on Instagram earlier today.

I took even a picture outside in the snow, but did not stay outside for long, as it is way too cold.

In collaboration with¬†@bakboxen I have put together some of my absolute favorite recipe’s for Christmas ? in their next beautiful box – the November box. This is my 3rd out of 4 baking boxes.
And this one you don’t wanna miss out of. Best of all, you get 60,- SEK discount on your first box order by using the code MANUELA60. ¬†

Visit their website her.

After being out in the snow, I thought it would be lovely to make a delicious

“Peppermint Mocha Latte” ¬†just like they sell at Starbucks.

this Peppermint Mocha Latte is a holiday classic made with ¬†espresso, steamed milk melted with crushed¬†candy canes, dark chocolate and coffee . It’s all topped off with whipped cream and¬†some more crushed candy.

Peppermint Mocha Latte ( yield 2)

  • 2¬†cup¬†espresso
  • 1¬†cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons crushed candy cane
  • 75 gram dark chopped chocolate

  • Whipped Cream
  • 2. tsp crushed candy cane

  • pour the milk in ¬†a saucepan, bring it to a simmer.

  • Add the crushed candy canes and let it simmer until the crushed candy cane¬†is dissolved.

  • Add the dark chocolate, put it back on the stove and whisk until the chocolate is melted.

Pour the warm espresso into your mugs, followed by the chocolate mixture

7 8Decorate with some sweetened whipped cream and  crushed candy on top. this one is definitely one of my holiday favorites, I hope it will be yours too.

Have a great day all of you,

Love Manuela xo

  1. Is it really 2 cups (450 ml) espresso and only 1 cup (225 ml) milk?
