If you are making a smoothie without too much liquids, shred your frozen bananas first in a food processor, and then pop it into your blender for a smooth blend.
I saw this tip on Instagram from @tropicallylina she makes some amazing Smoothie Bowls.
Blueberry Smoothie bowl
- 2 -3 shredded frozen bananas
- ¼ cup chilled plain yogurt (optional)
- ¼ – ½ cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tsp acai powder (optional)
Strawberry Smoothie Bowl
- 2-3 shredded frozen bananas
- ¼ cup chilled plain yogurt (optional)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 tsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
Mango Smoothie Bowl
- 2 -3 shredded frozen bananas
- ¼ cup chilled plain yogurt (optional)
- 1 cup frozen mango or use frozen pineapples
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Shred your frozen bananas in a food processor, just like you would shred your carrots.
- Pop, it into your high-powered blender
- Add frozen fruit of your choice, like blueberry or, frozen mango or frozen strawberries.
- Add chilled plain yogurt, and lemon juice if using.
- If you are using protein powder or acai powder, add it now.
- Process until smooth.
- Divide the smoothie into two bowls.
- Top with fresh or frozen fruit, sliced bananas, shredded coconut
- Serve and enjoy

How do you get that lovely frost in your berries?
I keep my berries in the fridge, when i take them out they will get frost on them
